What is inside the file, made clear
Driving, breaks, other work, availability and rest, minute by minute and checked against Regulation (EC) 561/2006. If something does not add up, we flag it before the inspector does.

Not a list of loose warnings: every infringement comes with the date, the driver and by how much the limit was exceeded. Where a penalty scale is loaded (Spain today) it also shows the estimated fine.

Which files can I upload?
The .DDD and .TGD files from the driver card and the vehicle unit. We read first and second generation tachographs, including the smart 2.1.
How long does the analysis take?
Seconds. The system does it automatically, with nobody checking the file by hand and no queues. The only wait is signing up for the account, not the analysis.
Do you calculate the fines?
As a rough estimate, where a penalty scale is loaded: today that is the Spanish one. Anything that cannot be assessed is flagged and left out of the total. It tells you where to look; it does not replace your advisor or a lawyer.
What happens to my files?
If you upload a file without an account, it is processed and deleted after 7 days. With an account, we keep a backup copy of every file, exactly as you upload it.
Is it live GPS tracking?
No. TachoTools analyses the files you download from the tachograph. It does not follow the truck in real time.
Which languages is it in?
The website in Spanish, English, German and Polish. The dashboard in fifteen languages, so every driver can see it in their own.
