About Legal Custody and the Backup Service
European regulations require the transport company to retain the .DDD files for the legally established periods. This legal custody is the customer's sole responsibility and must be maintained by their own means.
Our service is a backup (copy), not custody with legal validity, and it remains active as long as there is a current subscription linked to the asset. In the event of cancellation or non-payment, a grace period of 7 calendar days will be granted to download all files. After this period, the data will be permanently deleted for security and GDPR compliance.
The files are returned exactly as the customer provided them to us, without any alteration on our part. We do not modify or verify the integrity of the signature or the certificate, so if a file already had modifications before being backed up, it will be returned as is, with those same modifications and without legal validity on its own.
